Welcome to Tailgatorz sports bar & Grill!
Ron Wackerman “retired” and made the move from Ohio to Florida in November 2021. With him came not just a love of sunshine but a love of people, sports, and bringing folks together. As a proud father of three sons and one daughter, Ron believes in building something his family — and the Edgewater community — can be proud of.
In August 2025, the Wackerman family officially purchased Tailgatorz with a clear vision: to keep the bar’s welcoming spirit alive while creating an even better place for locals and visitors alike. Our goal is simple — serve great food, cold drinks, and plenty of fun in a true sports atmosphere where everyone feels like part of the family.
Whether you’re here to catch the big game, sing your heart out at karaoke, enjoy live music, or just kick back with friends, we’re glad you’re here. At Tailgatorz, customers become friends, and friends become family.
